We print large format Top-Color at the Copie-Sjop on the HP Designjet Z6800. The great advantages of this printer are the high resolution and the use of 8 colors; chromatic red, magenta, matte black, photo black, yellow, light cyan, light gray and light magenta. This printer has a much larger color range than a regular printer that works with 4 colors (CMYK). This combination allows us to match and often even exceed photo quality.
The printer does color management, photos are best delivered in RGB because of the large color range. The printer (in combination with the software) can also emulate pantone colors. The printer uses HP Vivid Photo Ink, which makes the prints UV resistant.
Widely used for photo work, presentations and advertising posters.
The prints are intended for indoor use and short-term outdoor use, but after plasticizing they can also be used outside for longer.

Submit PDF, JPG, TIF
It is best to submit files for large-format prints as a PDF with the following settings:
- Raster images 200 dpi
- Line graphics 1200 dpi
- Insert fonts (fonts embedded)
- Flatten all layers (flatten image)
- Flatten transparencies
- Color mode RGB
When submitting hard copy, we must first scan the originals. Look for this on the page scanning.
