Laminating
Want to protect your documents from dirt, moisture and wear and tear? Then have them laminated at the Copie-Sjop!
Lamination (also known as plasticizing) involves applying a transparent film to both sides of your document. Through heat, this film fuses to the paper, making it sturdy, water-resistant and durable.
We offer both small format and large format lamination depending on your needs.
Small format - instantly ready
We can process documents up to A3 size directly in the store, without an appointment. Think of certificates, menus, posters or other documents that need to remain beautiful for a long time.
You can choose from three film thicknesses for small format:
80 microns – thin and flexible
125 micron – our standard quality, sturdy and suitable for most applications
250 micron – extra strong
Do you have a lot of documents to laminate? Then we can also take the work as a job, so you can pick it up later and not have to wait in the store.
Would you like to have your own paper brought in? That is certainly possible. Just keep in mind that laminating on your own paper is done at your own risk. Some papers are too thick, contain texture or are sensitive to heat, so the end result is not always predictable.
Large format - on fixed days
We laminate documents larger than A3 size on Wednesdays and Fridays. Think of posters, construction drawings or presentation material.
Are you ordering an Eco Color Poster, Top Color Poster or a Large Format Black and White print from us? Then you can check the “laminate” option directly during the ordering process. We will then make sure your poster is laminated ready for you.
Are you in a hurry? Please feel free to contact us. More is sometimes possible by mutual agreement, but we cannot always guarantee rush orders.
Laminating your own paper is also possible with large format, but only after checking in the store. Not every paper type or thickness is suitable for lamination. We are happy to check this with you on site. Even with large format it is always at your own risk.
